Bringing Baby Home is not your usual newborn care & breastfeeding class. Rooted in prenatal and perinatal psychology, this 3-hr class explores a holistic approach to supporting the newborn's early experiences.
Newborn babies, like adults, are sentient beings with the ability to feel, perceive, reason and think.
This class covers all the practical things new parents need to know like diapering, soothing, bathing, and breastfeeding but with an emphasis on respecting the baby's likes and dislikes. In that way, parents will not only foster the newborn's ability to regulate itself, they will create the foundation for a secure attachment pattern and a much more rewarding parenting journey for all.
Class is a mix of lecture, hands-on practice, video and discussion.
